Wabaunsee sheriff arrests Donald Pfuetze on domestic, other charges

Donald L. Pfuetze, 73, was arrested June 6 by Wabaunsee County Sheriff's deputies, according to a Sheriff Department press release.

Deputies were investigating allegations that Pfeutze battered a live-in companion and subsequently executed a search warrant at Pfuetze's residence south of Eskridge.

Pfuetze was arrested for domestic battery, aggravated battery, criminal threat and criminal restraint. Bond was set at $75,000 and Pfuetze was released after posting bond the following day.

According to the press release, the adult female victim received medical attention and was released. She was assisted by the YWCA Battered Women's Task Force.

The names of domestic violence victims are not released.
