Pawnee Mental Health Services to go Tobacco Free

In an effort to promote better health for Pawnee Mental Health Services (Pawnee) employees, clients and visitors, smoking and the use of tobacco related products will be prohibited in all Pawnee buildings and on all Pawnee grounds effective August 1, 2014.

Smoking and tobacco use can negatively impact health and lead to serious illness. It is Pawnee's intent to provide all employees, clients and visitors an environment that is conducive to good health. Pawnee will educate its employees and clients about the health risks of using tobacco and related products and also provide resources to assist with smoking cessation upon request.

Pawnee Mental Health Services is a licensed community mental health center and licensed substance use treatment center serving approximately 7,800 people annually.
