The Wamego High School FFA planted a community garden for donations to Community Health Ministry. On July 29, the group delivered three pickup trucks (3,920 pounds) of sweet corn. They also planted onions, zucchini, squash, cantaloupe, pumpkin and greenbeans. Several of these crops have also been taken to CHM and the group will continue to deliver throughout the growing season, with the horticulture class taking over. The garden receives support from Land O'Lakes and Winfield Solutions.
