Hammett suffered the loss giving up 7 hits in 4 innings pitched, Campbell threw 2 scoreless innings in relief. ďWe had such a strong showing last weekend in KC, itís disappointing to play so dismal, and without much offense. Defeat hopefully will bring a lesson and give us a chance to refocus, and start again for the next two weekends with different intentions and results.Ē Moxie will play in Lincoln, Nebraska for the Firecracker NIT over the fourth of July weekend, and then finish the 2014 summer season the following weekend at USSSA State in Kansas City. Moxie is now 14-7-2 on the summer.
