WAMEGO- Glenn Curt Shaffner, 57, of rural Belvue, Kansas and formerly of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Wamego City Hospital, in Wamego, Kansas

Glenn was born on December 22, 1954 in Glendale, Maryland, the son of Lawrence W. and Edythe R. Shaffner. He attended schools in Glendale graduating from Glendale High School. He was a freelance worker.

He is survived by his daughter: Bridgette Stewart, of Ocean View, MD; his sister: Dale Sorrell and her husband Duane, of Waldorf, MD; a nephew: Patrick Pearson, and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two aunts: Dorothy Sauer and Jeannette Bolling and his uncle: Bert Shaffner.
