Residential Burglary
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff Office is investigating a rural residential burglary that occurred in the 6300 block of Salzer Road, rural Wamego. This crime occurred sometime between 6:15 am and 3:20 pm on 07/26/2012. The suspect or suspects in this matter forced entry to the residence by kicking out a glass door. Once inside, the suspect-s removed several items to include a handgun and jewelry. The loss is estimated to exceed $1,000 from the damage to the property and the theft.
