M. Patricia Campbell, 81, of Westmoreland, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the Deseret Nursing Home in Onaga. She was a life-long resident of the area.
Pat was born April 10, 1931, in Westmoreland, the daughter of Sherman and Cheryl Seymour Godlove. She attended local schools and graduated from Westmoreland High School in 1948.
Pat worked many years as Clerk of the District Court in Westmoreland. She retired in 1995. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Red Hatters. She loved sewing, crocheting and craft projects. She also was an artist and enjoyed doing landscapes.
Pat married Frederick M. Campbell on September 23, 1949, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2000.
She is survived by her children, Steven Campbell and his wife, Patricia, Westmoreland, Jan Schaffer and her husband, Lee, Liebenthal, Joy Krouse and her husband, Charles, Westmoreland and Jill Tanner and her husband, Justin, Wamego; six grandchildren, Kristin Knisler and her husband, Darby, Kaleb Campbell and his wife, Megan, Aaron Krouse, Kyle Campbell and his wife, Molly, Justin Tanner, Jr., and Jamie Benton and her husband, Andrew; five great-grandchildren, Jalen, Kynsley, Kabe, Ethan and Allie; sisters, Jo Plummer, Westmoreland, Anne Reeves, Blaine and brother, Keith Godlove, Westmoreland. Graveside inurnment was held Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Westmoreland City Cemetery. Reverend Phoebe Pitney officiated.
